Kyle Stambler : Video Production
Graduate Portfolio
My videos range from commercial spots to documentary, and even some fiction.
I am interested in a variety of production techniques, and exhibit them in my work. I incorporate After-Effects animations into my productions, which adds another level of creativity. I see video as an expression of society, incorporating my ideas with those of others to produce media that can influence people's views on the world.
H2O Hydrogen Conversion
This animated logo for H2O Hydrogen Conversion is designed to represent the process of hydrogen electrolysis, which is explained further in my 15 second animation. I used After-Effects to produce both pieces.
H2O Electrolysis
My goal for the animation was to show the process of electrolysis in the
conversion kit that H2O Fuel Masters manufactures. The voice-over was performed by Julius Ames of Broken Arrow Media.
Rocky Mountain PBS
Rocky Mountain PBS promotes local programming in this 30 second spot. Tom Craig asks viewers to support RMPBS, which has served Denver for over 50 years.
The Art Institute
The Art Institute of Colorado has many opportunities for professional artists. The variety of artists at school inspired me to produce this spot. Julius Ames, of Broken Arrow Media, performed the voice-over. Starring my fellow students and friends from the Art Institute in Denver.
GuitarProf.com
A promotional spot for GuitarProf.com, featuring Michael Chapdelaine, combines video and animation in an online lesson plan. Chapdelaine is a guitar professor at The University of New Mexico, and teaches private lessons in classical and acoustic guitar, now available online.
The Hidden Hut
Capturing the wonder of the Ski Train and the history of the 10th Mountain Division was my mission in creating this fiction. Mason Ferick takes a journey on the Ski Train to Winter Park, using an old map from his grandfather to find a hidden hut built by the 10th Mountain Division.
I began producing this short documentary after hearing about the electrolysis unit developed by a man in Allenspark, Colorado. Joe Costango designed this unit to install on vehicles for better fuel economy and more power using hydrogen. Visit H2OFuelMasters.com for more information.
